This privacy policy describes how Driftwood Radio (driftwoodradio.com) collects, uses, and handles information when you visit this website. This site is intended for visitors in the United States. Access from the European Union and EEA is restricted.

1. Information We Collect

Email address. If you sign up for the monthly music newsletter, we collect your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

Contact form. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use this only to respond to your inquiry.

Usage data. Like most websites, this site automatically collects basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed. This is collected through the third-party services described below.

2. Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services, each of which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Meta Pixel (Facebook). We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The pixel may collect information about your visit and associate it with your Facebook profile if you are logged in. You can learn more or opt out at facebook.com/privacy. 
  • YouTube. Some pages embed YouTube videos. If you interact with an embedded video, YouTube (Google) may collect data subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.

3. Email Marketing: As of May 2026 we are using Mailerlite for email marketing.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is stored with our email service provider and used only to send you monthly music recordings and occasional related updates. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties. You may unsubscribe at any time.

4. Cookies

This site uses cookies placed by the third-party services listed above (Meta, YouTube, Vimeo). These cookies help those services function and measure performance. We do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information directly.

5. Payments

This site does not currently process payments online. If e-commerce is added in the future, this policy will be updated to describe how payment information is handled. Any payment processing will be handled by a PCI-compliant third-party provider; we will not store your credit card details.
